CONTEST: Strike a Pose/Snap a Shot

STRIKE A POSE / SNAP A SHOT CONTEST now open!

Calling all young yogis - babies to 15yrs. We know you love yoga, but we want to know why, in your own words (yes, parents may "speak" for little ones who do not yet talk!)

Here's how it works:

  1. Practice your favorite yoga pose.

  2. Have an adult take a photo and email it, along with a quote from you about why you like the pose to: lisa@childlightyoga.com.

  3. Each week during the month of January, one entry will be chosen and featured in this blog.

  4. During February, a grand prize winner, chosen by a blog reader poll, will earn his/her choice of a free 6-week class or $50 credit to summer camp! (So, remember to come back and vote!)

Don't be shy...strike a pose and snap a shot. - We look forward to seeing them!

One entry per week per child.

Introducing our new website, blog & CD!

It's finally here - our new website! Thank you to Hanna Bulger of Good Girl Graphics and Meghan Melange of Melange Design Studio for giving us a new home on the web!

You can now register online for all of our programs from classes to summer camps to workshops. And the new ChildLight Yoga boutique is open, featuring our signature t-shirts for all ages, and....the newly released CD, I Grow With Yoga: Yoga Songs for Children...
The CD was a joint venture and fun adventure with my good friend, Sammie Haynes, world-famous and award-winning children's singer/songwriter. Thank you Sammie! (Learn more about Sammie and her amazing programs for children at http://www.sammiehaynes.com/). And a big thank you and hug to Lilly, Brooke, Sophia and Mia for their amazing vocals and smiles on the CD. You make my heart sing!

I Grow With Yoga is available at our favorite little toy store, The Little Hat Co. in S. Berwick, G. Willikers in Portsmouth, Dover Yoga Studio in Dover and Blue Moon Market in Exeter, as well as through our online boutique. If you're registered for a class and would like to order one (or a t-shirt, etc.), just send us an email and we'll hand deliver it to you at class! How is that for customer service?!

Parents and kids...Please take a tour of our new website and let us know what you think!
